At the AGM in March we adopted our constitution and voted in our first formalised Slopefield Allotment Association Committee.


A new gate security system was installed funded by a grant from Aberdeen International Airport community fund.


Airyhall primary school begin to visit Slopefield every thursday afternoon.


Slopefield in conjunction with the James Hutton Institute are developing a programme of events and activities to help teach the children where their food comes from and increase their environmental awareness.


A barbecue and "Grand Opening" of the Hutton Hut. Our new educational and social centre kindly donated by The James Hutton Institute and opened by professor Iain Gordon cheif executive of the institute.


Raised beds were built on the community plot.


As part of 'Wild About Gardens' week a bug hotel was built to aid insect biodiversity.


Slopefield presented by 'Keep Scotland Beautiful' with the coveted 'Outstanding' award in the national 'It's Your Neighbourhood' award scheme.
